Thanks to a new update, Netflix is making it easier for iOS and Android users to search through “My List,” a feature that allows users to have a section dedicated to saved movies and TV shows.
On Monday, the streaming service began rolling out new filters for its My List feature, including options for users to sort titles by release date, alphabetical order, whether the title is a movie or TV show, as well as the date the user got the title added to the list.
Arguably the most useful filters are the new “Not Started” and “Started” options, which allow users to sort by titles they have or have not started watching. The new filters should be a useful addition for users who keep a lot of must-watch titles in their list and need a way to sift through the clutter.
Previously, the My List features had no filters at all, so mobile users had to keep scrolling through the app to find the specific title they were looking for.
Android users will be the first to see the upgrade. Meanwhile, Netflix will launch the update on iOS devices in the coming weeks.

In addition, subscribers can now swipe directly on the title cards if they want to remove movies or series from the list. Before the update, users had to tap the title to be redirected to the detail page where they would then select the My List checkbox to remove it.
Note that the updates are for mobile users only. Netflix has no immediate plans to roll out the update to TVs, a company spokesperson told BlogRanking. Netflix first launched My List in 2013.
In addition, the streamer is introducing a new “Coming Soon” row on the TV’s home screen – rolling out to all subscribers globally in the coming weeks. Currently, users can discover upcoming titles in the “New & Hot” tab. By adding a Coming Soon queue right on the homepage, TV users can quickly see which movies and series are launching on the platform.
